One-day upskilling sessions will be held on the 9th and 25th of October 2017. The main areas to be addressed are feedback and corrective actions from internal verification and external authentication reports and the Institute’s QQI quality control responsibilities generally. This includes delivery, assessment and documentation, primarily at Level 4. A more detailed schedule will be available on the day. Paul Scallan CEO of the Private Security Authority will be in attendance to conduct a Q&A session in relation to the new PSA Trainer and Training requirements.
The sessions take place in the Institute office in Naas commencing at 10.00hrs and finishing at 16.00hrs. A light lunch will be provided.
Attendance is a mandatory requirement to remain on the trainer’s register. If you have any particular issues you would suggest being raised on the day please contact the office firstname.lastname@example.org .
Please confirm attendance in advance to ensure inclusion in the session, there is no charge for those who currently appear on the National Register of Approved Trainers. A fee of €120-00 will apply to unregistered in-house trainers and others who are not on the register.
