Upcoming SII Seminar

Our next seminar will take place on Tuesday 28th February 2012 in the Osprey Hotel, Naas, Co. Kildare. Tea and coffee will be available from 09:15hrs.

The seminar will commence at 10:00hrs sharp and run until approximately 12:30hrs. a light lunch is provided on conclusion.
The main issues for discussion will be recent developments in the PSA, proposed amendments to IS999, developments in training and education, an introduction to lone worker risks and risk assessment, an update on developments with the new industry REA, a discussion on the negotiation of new wage agreement terms and conditions, TUPE and certain areas of Employment Law.
We will have expert speakers on all subjects and senior legal advisors will be available to contribute. There will be opportunities to engage privately with some presenters and experts during the day.
Substantial developments within the industry are now coming to the fore and there are limited opportunities for you to contribute. These seminars provide participants with the opportunity to voice their opinion on proposals to date. We strongly encourage your active participation and feedback at this seminar.
Geraldine Larkin, Chief Executive of the Private Security Authority and Security Institute President, Joe Leahy will present certificates to new corporate members on the day.
There is no charge for attending this seminar. A detailed schedule will be available on the day. All are welcome and we ask that you confirm your attendance on or before Friday 24th February.
