Classroom-based Courses
All our courses are facilitated by one of our experienced approved trainers, based across the country. Courses typically take place over a period of 4-5 days in our training centre in Naas, Co. Kildare. We can also facilitate in-house training for organisations who prefer this option. Online Courses
The Security Institute of Ireland offers many courses online. Online courses are an alternative to traditional courses and offer a more convenient method of learning, providing candidates with 24 hour access to materials. Without the constraints of normal classroom learning, candidates are able to maintain work and family commitments while studying, fitting the coursework around their schedule and working at their own pace. Online courses are also more cost-effective, offering savings on travel and accommodation expenses.
Online courses offer more flexibility and typically must be completed within 12 weeks of registration. Those with extensive experience, knowledge or background in security or any related field do not have to commit to the full duration and may submit their final assessment material anytime within the stated duration.
All our online courses use the same content, supporting materials and assessment requirements as the classroom-based courses, maintaining the same high standards and integrity of the qualifications.
