The security institute national qualifications register is a register of all persons who hold a current security institute qualification. A current qualification is one that is in date and continues to satisfy the criteria of the Certification Scheme Specification.

The register is published by qualification title e.g. Security Industry Trainer or Diploma in Security Management etc.

The register is updated regularly and published on the Institute website. Agreement with the terms and conditions and a code of conduct are also essential requirements for anyone to be entered onto and remain on the National Qualifications Register. It is mandatory that brief details of all qualified persons be published. The information published will be minimal, but sufficient to identify the person and will include name, qualification, unique reference number (not PPSN) and expiry date, this process is to assist qualified persons monitor their own status and to facilitate others e.g. employers verifying the qualification.

All qualifications have an expiry date. This is printed on the certificate issued to validate the qualification and also on the National Qualifications Register.
