Successful launch of Dealing with Conflict and Physical Threats courses in the UK.

Certified to ISO/IEC 17024:2003 by the Security Institute who are the only INAB Accredited Certification Body in the sector

Feedback from participants included:

“In short it was brilliant. The course was very informative and made me
appreciate how complex the training of our security staff have been. The techniques shown were easy to follow and, most importantly, they work. The instructors were excellent and developed a relationship with every member of the group. Their passion for the subject was obvious and they made sure every candidate had one-to-one tuition to ensure they had a real understanding.”

Further courses are planned commencing in March in various locations in the UK.

Corporate Member Category reintroduced in response to industry demand.

A decision by the Security Institute to reinstate the Corporate Member Category has been warmly welcomed by Companies in the Security Sector and related fields. Stakeholders expressed the opinion that a new ‘Body’ was required to ensure their views were being represented at various fora. The membership has been growing steadily and John Byrne CEO of the Security Institute commented that the response has far exceeded our expectations.

The primary focus will be to represent the views and interests of Corporate Members.  Members will have access to practical advice, information, education and a range of facilities, Seminars and Workshops.
